I absolutely love Memorial Hermann parks — they’ve become one of our favorite places to spend time as a family. The splash pads are amazing — big, clean, and perfect for cooling off on hot days. There’s so much space for kids to run, play, and explore, and the water features keep them entertained for hours. It’s such a gem, especially if you have little ones. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already! The restrooms at Memorial Hermann Park were surprisingly clean and well-maintained. Always a plus when you’re out with kids!

This is a beautiful and peaceful walk near the zoo and museum district. We went on a hot day, but it was still nice with a soft breeze. The gardens are well taken care of, and the animals are used to people and stay close by. We missed the prime cherry blossoms time, but there were still plenty of flowers to enjoy. The path is well cared for, and the bathrooms were also clean and well cared for. I would recommend this walk to anybody looking for some serene moments and beautiful scenery.

We had a wonderful time at the Houston Museum of Natural Science! The exhibits were incredibly well laid out, making it easy to navigate and enjoy everything at our own pace. There was so much to see — from ancient fossils and dazzling gems to interactive science displays and life-sized dinosaur skeletons. What really stood out was how engaging it was for both kids and adults. Our children were fascinated from start to finish, and as adults, we found ourselves just as entertained and impressed. It struck the perfect balance between fun and educational. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we’re already looking forward to going back. Always a great time visiting the art exhibits on display at this museum! Plenty of different rooms and galleries to explore. They also have seasonal and cultural events + exhibits a couple of times a year, and they rotate the art on display pretty well. Does get crowded during peak rush hours and weekends, so plan ahead and would recommend buying ticket in advance. They have free entry on Thursdays during a limited timeframe, but it’s usually packed and parking is pretty hard to find. If you appreciate art and are looking for a fun activity or looking for a place to explore with friends, fam, or a date, definitely give this a go. Really enjoyable and fun experience!

NRG Park in Houston has consistently proven itself to be an extraordinary venue, hosting a variety of wholesome and exciting shows. Recently attending the Monster Jam event, I was absolutely amazed by the overall experience. What sets NRG Park apart is its versatility – from jewelry shows to art exhibitions, RV displays, and car shows, they curate an impressive array of events. The vendors at these shows are top-notch, offering great prices and valuable information and resources for potential buyers. Attending the Monster Jam at NRG Park was a highlight. The event was not only entertaining but also well-organized, with a diverse range of activities that catered to everyone's interests. Despite the challenging parking situation, the near-full house reflected the popularity and enjoyment of the event. The Monster Jam itself was unforgettable. The noise and excitement made parking inconveniences seem insignificant. The captivating performances showcased by monster trucks left me wanting more, even if I may not attend again due to the noise. The memories created during this event are likely to last a lifetime. NRG Park, with its beautiful stadium and diverse array of shows, is commendable. I highly recommend attending any of their events – the wholesome atmosphere, great work, and memorable experiences make it a venue worth exploring for a variety of shows.

Navy Blue is super swanky and better than the new Little Pappas on Shepherd. It used to be my favorite burger place in the Village called Burgerville in the 70's- early 90's and had school desks for dining tables. There was a clothing store around the corner called Warp and Woof.

I love Kirbys ice house. The atmosphere is great. They typically have food trucks there. When it's cold, they have heating lamps and plastic covers that keep areas near the bar warm, which is great. We grabbed a drink at the bar. As soon as I sat down, the waitress greeted me and asked what I was drinking. Overall, I like this place, especially during baseball season. They have added some additions. There's an extra bar near the bigger outdoor space, which makes the crowd at the main bar less. A small Tito's photo booth was added for pictures. The time we went 'Chasin' Tails' crawfish was there. Which was a big hit!

A good, cheap, no quick taco restaurant with a lot of good options. I had a breakfast brisket taco and a Honey Chipotle Rib taco. The portions were pretty good and flavor was great too. Chips & Queso were nothing special, but not bad either. Not quite an “authentic” taco place per se, but very good if you like Tex Mex style tacos. Lots of indoor seating. I’d recommend if you want a quick taco bite or somewhere to hangout while eating some Tex Mex.

Absolutely stellar experience. EVERYTHING we ordered was absolutely delicious. The pork dumplings are the best I’ve ever had in my life. Target: Where Budget Meets Bullseye 🎯 A personal fave, especially after all the updates. ✨️ The most organized and well stocked location in the city. If there's a better location, I haven't seen it. This location has a large grocery supply, optics 🕶 Starbucks ☕️, and quick deli 🍖. While there's 20 lanes or more available, I've rarely seen more than 10 open at once. However, the check out time is always fairly reasonable. Self check out is always an option as well. The Ulta shop is of nice size here, plenty selections available from the new and trendy to the standard must haves. Well lit parking areas, massive parking lot, and clean restroom areas are available. 🚻

I got what I paid for. I might rate more a 4 only because there really was no decor in the rooms and the space is certainly worn. But if you were like me, some of the earlier reviews scared me - for nothing. The room was conveniently located close to NRG park for me. I was able to walk about 15/20 min but the walk is meandering. Most importantly I felt safe. My room was clean, pleasantly cool, quiet, and I found the staff to be pleasant as well. Breakfast could use some fruit otherwise pretty standard for an Inn/lighter hotel. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Thus was the old Crown Plaza. The location is great. They are working on updates, and they are needed. I was there for a conference. The conference rooms were not ready and we had to wait almost an hour for the staff to unlock doors, turn on the heat & and set up the required tables & chairs. There were gnats in our conference rooms. Hotel room. I had a suite, which was dated but okay. The shower was not. I could not get hot water, and there was a leak in the shower head connector that sprayed water onto the old style drop ceiling tile. The ice machine on the 7th floor kept making a very loud noise.

Great place with even better service. Went through a lot of Physical Therapy here and they took great care of me. One person who I can really speak highly of is Chris Lefever. He’s very knowledgeable and takes great care of all of his patients. He made me feel like I could for sure get back to 100%. The progress he helped me reach was tremendous. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for help to seek Chris for guidance.

Beautiful fountain. Enjoyable to see while driving or running/walking on a nearby path. It is very difficult to get it close as you have to cross traffic in a roundabout to get there. There are also no crosswalks to get right up to it, which makes timing walking across the street difficult. However, if you do want to get up to it, it is a beautiful area for some really cool shots. Whether you were taking pictures with people in front of the fountain, the background buildings, or just the pretty clouds and the picturesque Hermann Park in the background, this is a great place for photography. It’s also quite refreshing to hear the soothing sounds of the water fountain as you are running in the nearby areas. This is likely not a spot that you will see on purpose, but will drive by and recognize it.
