Artists We Need An Eras Tour From
Taylor Swift is one of the biggest pop stars in the world, with her reach expanding to many countries and spanning several generations. With that being said, unless you were living under a rock, you undoubtedly heard the success of The Eras Tour, and the cultural impact this tour had, especially in regards to social media, marketing and profitability. Fans were eager to get their hands on tickets and the swifties crowded stadiums all around the globe.
The Eras Tour was promoted as a tour that would look back at and celebrate all of Taylor Swift’s discography, including some of her newly released music that was hitting the charts at the time. This of course was a great marketing tactic, essentially promoting this concert as the ultimate experience for any Taylor Swift fan that wished to attend. As a music lover myself though, I couldn’t think but wonder, what other active artists could pull this off?
The success from the Eras Tour culminates in the fact that it served as the peak experience for any super fan who loved Taylor, or any casual fan who appreciated her “bigger hits”. Personally, I believe many pop stars and artists who have a strong discography can pull off such an amazing tour themselves. Here are some artists I strongly believe we need an Eras Tour from.

Beyonce
First I want to start off by talking about arguably one of the biggest pop stars in the nation. Beyonce has recently successfully wrapped up 2 showstopping tours, in both the Renaissance World Tour and the Cowboy Carter Tour, and with a third album in the works as a part of the “Renaissance Trilogy”, there is no better time for a celebration tour than now.
When it comes to performing, Beyonce is at the top of the game, often being recognized for her undeniable stage presence, dancing, and vocal range. Throughout the years, Beyonce has had a medley of different projects and albums, all spanning throughout decades of culture. With every album and era being so uniquely amazing, it is undeniable that a Beyonce Eras Tour would do numbers we have never seen before. Take for instance her early work with ‘Destiny’s Child’, her chart topping self titled album, her groundbreaking visual album Lemonade, or her recent trilogy of albums exploring different genres of music she has yet to explore.
Beyonce also carries a legacy like no other in the modern age, surely being one of the greatest performers and musical acts of our generation. This is reflected by her loyal fanbase, nicknamed the “BeyHive”, who constantly support, love, show up, and show out for everything she does. It is without a doubt that she is one of the top contenders in my eyes for a show like this one.

Lady Gaga
Little Monsters rise up! Lady Gaga is one of the most beloved pop stars of our generation, with a discography that is truly incomparable artistically, visually, and sonically. With the recent release of her 7th studio album, titled Mayhem, Gaga is showing that she is not looking to stop anytime soon.
Ever since she broke into the scene in 2008, with her hit song “Just Dance”, Lady Gaga has quickly become a pop legend of her time, with a fanbase that is as dedicated to her as she is dedicated to her art. Lady Gaga has released many successful studio albums throughout the years, with even the ‘least’ successful ones proving to be modern masterpieces, getting truly appreciated more as time goes by. Every studio album of hers represents a new era of her art, take for instance the dark pop gritty nature of The Fame Monster, the rock pop inspired Born This Way, the more grounded and raw sounds of Joanne, or the epic dance party that is Chromatica.
She also has been involved in many musical projects outside of her studio albums, including her performances in the films such as A Star Is Born (2018) and Joker: Folie a Deux (2024) Lady Gaga has had such an extensive and impressive career that I feel deserves to at some point have a celebration tour like no other. A tour that truly encapsulates what has made every era of her musical journey so important, unique, and loved.

Coldplay
We move on from talking about pop divas for a bit to bring you something a little different. This pick is definitely influenced by the fact that I recently got the chance to see Coldplay live and was left wanting more. Coldplay has one of the best musical libraries I have ever heard. Not only that but their music spans generations as well, with many people loving their music since the year 2000.
Coldplay’s albums each hold a certain aesthetic and are a great representation of their artistic growth as a musical act throughout the years, showing their complete evolution. From the calming style of their debut album, Parachutes, to their more electric and fun hits like “Sky Full Of Stars”, they definitely have something in their discography for everyone to enjoy. If their performance at Super Bowl 50 showed us anything, it’s that these guys have a list of hits that are undeniable.

Britney Spears
The Princess of Pop, Britney Spears was once the biggest pop star of the world, with many seeing her as the definition of what it means to be a pop icon. Through the years she has always been known to be an amazing performer, with the music library to back it up. Miss Spears continuously elevated and made herself a top celebrity in the world of pop culture.
Britney’s reach and legacy is one that is unmatched, many times being considered as the original pop princess. Britney’s influence sparked many artists trying to match her success, and follow in her footsteps. Britney is also an artist that is known for selling albums, putting out chart topping records. This makes her a perfect candidate for an Era based tour. From her early fun pop work in her debut album …Baby One More Time, to her electric dance pop hits from Femme Fatale, Britney has the range and musical hits to justify a celebration tour like no other.

Rihanna
WHERE IS THE NEXT ALBUM? Is what most people may ask when they see Rihanna, however personally my question would be, when are we getting a new tour? Since her debut album in 2007 Good Girl Gone Bad, Rihanna had a trajectory of pure success for a whole decade, putting out chart topping album after chart topping album, with every album feeling unique and different.
It is very hard to believe she accomplished all of this in the span of 10 years but that is very much the truth. She creatively evolved and changed as the years happened right in front of our eyes, from her grungy hard aesthetic in Rated R, to her bubbly fun red hair look in LOUD, to her dark alternative r&b work in ANTI we have seen this modern pop culture icon tear up the charts in many different ways. With her recently lending her voice for a couple musical film projects such as Wakanda Forever (2022) and the new Smurfs (2025) film she produced, (read our review on that film here), it is safe to say a new tour is not exactly too far off to ask for.

The Weeknd
Over the past decade The Weeknd has completely skyrocketed in fame, quickly becoming one of the most streamed artists in the world. Early in his career he solidified his place in the charts with hits such as “The Hills” and “I Can’t Feel My Face”, positioning himself as a top R&B/Soul artist with the release of his first three albums, Kiss Land, Beauty Behind The Madness, and Starboy. Then entering the new decade in 2020 he released “Blinding Lights”, a single which would prove to be arguably his biggest hit yet and would be a taste of the new style of music he would adopt with his upcoming project. After Hours released in 2020, adopted a more synthpop style, and would become something he would be widely recognized for.
The Weeknd has also solidified a very dedicated fanbase who love and appreciate his music heavily. This along with his medley of hits, definitely lead me to believe that he is due for a huge Eras style tour very soon. And who knows, with the recent release of his newest studio album, Hurry Up, Tomorrow, we may be getting it sooner rather than later.

Bruno Mars
Next on my list is someone who I believe has had an impressive extensive career that many people may not always recognize. Bruno Mars has easily become a staple in Pop Music, being a top contributor both behind the scenes and as a singer/performer. First off it is important to note Bruno is one of the best male live performers of our generation, and if you are for any second thinking otherwise, then we may suggest watching either of his two Superbowl Halftime performances.
Ever since he burst into the scene in the late 2000’s, and subsequently released his first album, doowops & hooligans, Bruno has seemingly become someone who has always stayed at the top of the charts. And he proved that he has range as an artist, with the release of Unorthodox Jukebox which showed a more playful and fun side of Bruno inspired by energetic pop tracks, in comparison to the melodramatic themes of his debut album. He then released 24K Magic in 2016, which took heavy inspirations from 90s R&B. Point is, Bruno’s range as an artist, along with his medley of hits spanning over a decades worth of music, just shows that Bruno is fully capable of an Eras Tour in the near future.

Ariana Grande
The final artist I want to talk about on my list is one that is without a doubt a modern legend in the making. Ariana Grande has undoubtedly cemented herself as a top pop girlie of the modern era, sporting an impressive library of records. popular hits, and iconic pop culture moments. She has created an amazing career for herself in the music world, with a very loyal group of supporters who she fittingly calls the “Arianators”. As of 2025, she has released a total of 7 studio albums throughout her career, with all of them serving their own unique aesthetic, musical style and representing a new era of herself and her art. Spanning from her debut album, Yours Truly, which was a fun doo-wop inspired album, with hip hop elements, all the way to her most recent release in Eternal Sunshine which has more dance and pop heavy influences, Ariana’s music has something for everyone to enjoy.
Also it is important to mention the career Ariana has had outside of her studio albums, recently being casted as “Glinda” in the film adaptation of the popular and beloved play Wicked (2024). It goes without saying that Ariana Grande is a sight to see, and someone who has the fanbase, discography, and pop diva status to pull off a successful Eras Tour.

Final Thoughts
Overall the idea of an Eras Tour is one that is great for many artists with extensive and large discographies as well as the reach to bring out both loyal and new fans to come and watch them. I want to also emphasize that in my opinion any artist has the ability to pull off a “celebration” style tour. For example, Madonna recently wrapped up her tour perfectly titled ‘The Celebration Tour’ which was marketed as a greatest hits style tour, celebrating a 40-year musical career, including all of the hits, albums, and music that made the queen of pop as successful as she is.
I believe many artists should at some point do a tour of this style, as not only is it a marketing gold mine, almost securing a packed house for any artists with a large following, however it is also a perfect way to truly appreciate the hard work and long strong careers that they have had the blessing of having. Many artists already test their ability of doing shows like such, including Superbowl Halftime Shows, medley award show performances, and Las Vegas residencies. So just imagine how effective an Eras Tour would be for some of these globally recognized acts.
