A Taste of Houston Food, Art and Music at SXSW

Houston’s Creative Powerhouses Unite for a One-of-a-Kind Pop-Up Experience

In a collision of creativity and culture, three of Houston’s leading visionaries—David Anderson III, Carlos Buentello, and Alex Roman Jr.—joined forces last fall to birth Extended FAM. The brainchild of this trio, Extended FAM, short for Food, Art, and Music, celebrates the vibrant essence of Houston’s dynamic scene. After a triumphant debut at Miami Art Basel, they are set to take over Austin during SXSW at Revival Coffee on March 14 from 7-11 p.m.

David Anderson III, founder of The Heist Agency and co-owner of Off the Record, Carlos Buentello, founder of Mad Rabbits Riot Club (MRRC), and Alex Roman Jr., the renowned artist known as Donkeeboy, bring an unparalleled pop-up experience that transcends boundaries.

“As creatives, Carlos, Alex, and myself made Extended FAM as an avenue to spotlight other, often under-represented people in the arts making Houston one of the nation’s top cities to play in. We are thrilled to bring this showcase to the powerful epicenter of creativity that is SXSW,” says David Anderson III.
