Upcoming Artists and Concerts Coming to Houston

Being born and raised in Houston, Texas, I’ve always been someone who loves our city and holds it near and dear to my heart. I have always loved the amazing culture that surrounds us, however there is something that I have noticed recently. As a fan of music as well, and someone who recently has fallen in love with the idea of going to see my favorite musicians, I have found that many artists that decide to tour typically seem to skip over the 4th largest city in the US, in favor of other Texan cities such as Austin or Dallas. Recently Billie Eilish chose not to come down to Texas at all, and added Austin dates to her tour after her original tour leg, read more about that here. Not to worry though, as many artists do come take a trip down to the Space City for many of their tours, concerts and shows. Here are just some of the biggest names and artists coming to Houston the rest of the year.

Beyonce

Queen B is back in Houston! She is coming this time serving some southern heat and flavor to her discography. This Space City native is coming back as a part of her Cowboy Carter tour. Recently Beyonce has started a new trilogy of albums exploring different genres of music she has never truly indulged in. She started this journey in 2022 with the release of Renaissance, her house and dance album. Now she is coming for her newest country album “Cowboy Carter”. Fresh off the press of winning Album of the Year at the 2025 Grammys, she is set to come to NRG Stadium on Saturday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th.

Beyonce is always known to put on a show, and is one of the best live acts of our generation. If her renaissance tour from 2023 showed us anything, it is that this is still a true fact.

The Weeknd

Arguably one of the most successful artists of the modern era, Able Tesfaye, known by his stage name ‘The Weeknd’ had gained enormous amounts of fame the past couple of years from his consistent chart topping hits and bodies of work. Now getting ready to tour for his new album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, and following the release of his feature film of the same name, he is set to come to NRG Stadium on Saturday, August 30th and Sunday August 31st.

The Blinding Lights singer is known for his eclectic energy when performing. His energy and visuals are something that cannot be matched. Considering that (then you add his vast discography of hits and crowd pleasers) just proves that this show is gearing up to be one you do not want to miss!

Benson Boone has recently become a rising name, with appearances at the 2025 Grammys and Coachella just amplifying this popularity. His song “Beautiful Things” skyrocketed in popularity and became a popular song to you on platforms such as Tik Tok and instagram. With the release of his sophomore studio LP, American Heart, he is currently at an early peak of his career. Benson Boone will be at the Toyota Center on Thursday September 18th, 2025.

If Benson Boone has proven anything at his many national appearances over the past year, it’s that when it comes to performance he is definitely one to want to be seated for. If it’s not for his amazing vocals, it’s for his electric stage presence and his passionate connection to the audience, you can tell he has nothing but fun on stage.

Tate McRae

On the other hand of upcoming pop stars, we have a pop princess on the rise, Tate McRae. Recently, Tate McRae has started to gain popularity quickly, gaining a fanbase that is very loyal, and hits such as “Greedy” and “exes” have started to get her some traction as a new artist to look out for. Luke Combs

This nationally recognized country singer is ready for his new tour in 2025. This tour is set to be different from all of his previous headline tours however, as he is planning on going on a select number of shows and festival appearances, rather than a fully booked set of dates. One of the cities he chose to come to is the Bayou City. The “Beautiful Crazy” singer is rumored to come to NRG stadium this fall, with a release date still pending.

Bring Me The Horizon

These revolutionaries of the rock genre are scheduled to come to H-Town this fall. Recently this British heavy rock group has rolled out some new projects. This time they are coming to town as a part of their Ascension North America Part 1 tour. The British natives will be at the Toyota Center on Friday September 26th.

Keyshia Cole

When speaking on classic r&b acts, it does not get more classic and recognized than Keisha Cole. Cole is known for her soulful voice, emotional storytelling, and raw authenticity. She is scheduled to come to Houston on Friday July 25th, 2025.

Final Thoughts

There are so many widely recognized artists coming to Houston during the rest of the year. It’s important to remember and celebrate this as our town should be celebrated as the 4th largest city in America, and with a vast diversity in the people that live here, we have music fans of all kinds just waiting to see their favorite singers, bands and musical acts live in concert near them!
