I had the pleasure of visiting Space Center Houston for a preview of Galaxy Nights. The moment you step inside, you are immediately immersed in a world of sparking lights and amazing displays that capture the essence of the Space Center. The entire grounds are illuminated with dazzling LED lights, crafting a beautiful display that will leave you starry-eyed and amazed! From sparkling constellations to large-scale spaced-themed installations, the whole experience takes you on a journey through the stars. There are interactive displays throughout the experience, such as the Light Pods that allow you to control the lights by jumping on steps that change into different colors, sitting down and relaxing on the Light Swings, and taking a step inside Independence Plaza with multiple exhibits that offer visitors a glimpse and educational perspective into the historic shuttle and the significance of current and future space exploration. Making it the perfect fun and fascination for those who are interested in space for all ages!

As you stroll through the lights and take the perfect picture, there are concession stands nearby to stop by and enjoy delicious hot cocoa and other festive snacks to indulge in, such as roasting marshmallows over a fire pit to make mouthwatering s’mores that instantly warms you up and leave you wanting more at the S’mores station! Whether you’re with friends, family, or out on a date night with your significant other. This mesmerizing display of lights and festive snacks will immerse you into partaking in the holiday spirit that is out of this world!

Galaxy Lights at Space Center Houston is now open from November 16, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
