With the weather getting cooler and the holiday season in full swing, Houston got much merrier with the latest debut of Jingle Bell Bar at Aero Cocktail! This festive pop-up bar located in River Oaks is an experience unlike any other pop-up bar in Houston that perfectly combines the coziness of the Christmas spirit with the decorations and the chance to indulge in delicious, well-crafted cocktails and festive foods that are mouthwatering! The moment you step inside Jingle Bell Bar, you will be transported into a Christmas wonderland that will set you in the season’s spirit!

As you walk your way through Jingle Bell Bar, you will be welcomed and transported into three beautifully decorated rooms that bring different vibes and are decorated meticulously to fit the theme of the room. In the first room, you will be immersed in a classic Christmas setting, completed with traditional decorations and twinkling lights. As you travel further, you will then enter a whimsical Christmas candy land that is packed with lively colors and spirited details. Lastly, as you turn and ascend the stairs, you will reach the cozy Apres Ski Lounge, where you can unwind and relax and feel as if you are amidst a ski lodge ambiance. Each room is decorated to perfection, creating an atmosphere that is warm and inviting, making it the best spot to enjoy and indulge in festive drinks and food with friends and loved ones!

What makes Jingle Bell Bar spectacular is the well-crafted cocktails. The cocktail menu has something for everyone to enjoy! Whether you want to drink a beer, a mocktail, or a festive, well-crafted cocktail to be transported into the spirit of the season. On my recent visit, I had the opportunity to try out a variety of drinks, if you are a fan of a cosmopolitan, I highly recommend the Mistletoe Martini; the drink is perfectly mixed with vodka, orange liqueur, cranberry with a finished garnish of rosemary and lime. Another drink I highly recommend is the Sleigh All Day; this drink is perfectly crafted with gin, st. Germain, sparkling wine, pear, and lemon, garnished beautifully with sage. This is the perfect drink to sip on if you’re looking for something refreshing and citrusy. Lastly, if you are looking to sip on a non-alcoholic drink, I highly recommend Mrs. Claus’ Cocoa this drink is perfect to warm you up and make you feel cozy! This hot cocoa is made with triple chocolate, oat milk, cinnamon, vanilla and topped perfectly with roasted marshmallows. The drink menu has something for everyone to sip on, enjoy the atmosphere, and relax!

Along with the wide variety of drinks to choose from, the snack menu can pair perfectly with whichever drink you select. On my recent visit, I tried out the snacks menu, and everything I had tried was delicious! I highly recommend the Ancho Pork Tamales; nothing screams the holiday season more than indulging in some delicious Mexican tamales! If you’re looking to dig into something lighter, I suggest the charcuterie board that pairs perfectly with a wine or cocktail of your choice. Another recommendation if you are looking to indulge in something light is the festive flatbread, such as the pesto and mozzarella topped off with cherry tomatoes, this mouthwatering flatbread is packed with flavor and melts perfectly into your mouth with each bite, leaving you wanting more! Lastly, If you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, I highly recommend ordering the cinnamon roll that is warm, fluffy and finished off icing that is not overpowering.
