Cyclone Anaya’s River Oaks Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

Cyclone Anaya’s Mexican Kitchen is raising a glass — and a margarita — to celebrate a special milestone. On Saturday, April 19, the beloved Houston restaurant group will host a lively celebration marking one year of serving guests at its newest River Oaks Westheimer location (3736 Westheimer Rd). The anniversary event will also double as the official grand opening for the brand’s sixth Houston-area restaurant.

The River Oaks location is more than 6,000 square feet of inviting space, designed by Gin Design Group and built by Anchor Construction Management. Guests will find the same beloved Cyclone Anaya’s menu, including fan favorites like Nachos, Fajitas, Quesadillas, Pollo Jalisco, and the restaurant’s signature margaritas.

The new location also features:

A Citywide Toast to 59 Years in Houston

This spring also marks Cyclone Anaya’s 59th anniversary since its original opening in Houston. In honor of this legacy, all Cyclone Anaya’s locations will offer the same celebratory food and drink specials on April 19 — with the exception of live mariachi entertainment, which will be exclusive to the River Oaks celebration.
