Xian Sushi and Noodle
Although I’m sure all of us would love to take a quick trip to China and experience their famous gastronomy first-hand, time and money simply just don’t allow it these days. But what if I told you there’s another way for you to experience authentic, fresh, and delicious Chinese food in one of your favorite Austin spots? Yes, you heard me right, Xian Sushi and Noodles is one of the best restaurants located in The Domain, and trust me, you won’t regret it.
Xian Sushi and Noodles has been bringing that authentic and fresh flavor to the people of Austin since 2013 when they first opened up. Xian Sushi and Noodles was created by Ting and Ye Lin, two brothers who came from a long line of restaurant owners. With the help of April Zheng, Ting Lin’s wife who also helped out Lin’s restaurants in New York, Xian Sushi and Noodles was born. Both brothers have their own specialty and each contributes to the immense success of the restaurant.
Ting spent many years in China perfecting the craft of hand-pulled noodles while Ye spent over 10 years working to master his sushi dishes. The experience of these brothers combined is very noticeable in their dishes. Starting with their hand-pulled noodles, whether you’re in the mood for dry noodles or a fresh noodle soup, look no further than Xian. All of their noodles are made with wheat flour and hand-pulled to order.
Additionally, all orders are customizable according to the type of noodle that you prefer. If you prefer a Sushi roll, Xian has the freshest sushi around. We recommend going for their famous Golden Trio Roll or their Tuna Martini for the best experience! If you’re looking for something a bit different, don’t hesitate to try their delicious Pork Buns.

Xian Sushi and Noodle: Ambiance of the Restaurant
The atmosphere at Xian Sushi Noodles, like their food, is very comforting and laid back. With ample space and a couple of TVs playing anime channels, you’re sure to enjoy your meal in an immersive and comfortable environment. Additionally, the restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing and has a cool view of the kitchen.
Xian Sushi and Noodle: Menu
Xian Sushi and Noodles has an extensive menu all the way from Hot Tea options to Hot dishes. As mentioned above, noodles seem to be a fan favorite at this restaurant, more specifically, their Dan Dan Noodles which can be customized according to noodle and topping preferences.
As for appetizers, there’s a wide variety to choose from, my personal favorite is the spicy chili wontons but if you’re looking for something not so spicy, the Thom Yam soup or the Pork Buns won’t disappoint.
Xian Sushi and Noodle: Lunch Menu
If you’re stopping by Xian’s we recommend stopping between the hours of 11:00 am to 2:45 on Monday thru Friday to take advantage of their special lunch menu. This option is perfect for those of us who want to try everything on the menu. You can choose from their Bento Box which lets you customize your whole order, a special-priced bowl of noodles with your choice of protein, or their lunch sushi which allows you to mix and match different sushi rolls.
The Bento Box lunch consists of one dim sum item of your choice, one main dish, house salad, white rice and seasonal fruit. The combination options are endless! For the noodles, you can choose from one of three dishes: spicy pork, stir-fried, and Dan Dan noodles. If you choose the Sushi special you are able to combine two rolls from the select menu for the price of just $11.95 or three rolls for the price of $14.95.

Xian Sushi and Noodle: Dinner Menu
If you’re craving something more “dinner style” then you have the entire menu at your disposition. Whether you’re getting drinks with the girls and want to experiment with new drinks such as Sake or sticking to the good old classics like your favorite Martini, any drink from their menu is the perfect compliment for your dinner.
Xian Sushi is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Austin, and the dinner menu does not disappoint. You may want to start off your dinner with a local favorite, the Spicy Lobster dumplings which consists of delicious guacamole topped with lobster dumpling, Jalapeno, masago and sweet spicy sauce. If spicy is not your thing, you can’t go wrong with the Tri Color Sashimi which includes 3 Tuna, 3 Salmon, and 3 Yellowtail.
Moving on to your main dish, a hot dish of Ginger Broccoli with your choice of protein is one of the healthiest options on the menu. You also can’t go wrong with any of their sushi options, especially their delicious Spider Roll. But let’s be honest, you really just have to get the Dan Dan Noodles! If you still have room for dessert Xian Noodles and Sushi has one of the best Mochi ice creams in town and you can’t quite finish up without trying their Oreo Mousse Cheesecake.
