The Texas Selfie Museum – Review
We were recently given the opportunity to try out the new Texas Selfie Museum in downtown Austin, Texas. Here’s our review, and everything you need to know before attending.
The Experience
When we arrived, we were greeted at the door by the sweetest employee and shown straight to the photo spots. Each area was equipped with ring lights and phone stands: everything you may need to capture the perfect selfie! We visited the museum on a Sunday afternoon, and were so excited when we had the rooms to ourselves almost our entire visit! It was so much fun getting to take our time snapping photos, posing with props, and trying out different backdrops.
Our personal favorite rooms were the pink one with the microphone, the banana swing, and the floral room (it reminded us of Bridgerton). As we were leaving, we even got to print our favorite photo as a polaroid to add to their wall of guest photos.
Parking
Located right off of 6th Street, the museum had plenty of street parking in surrounding areas. If visiting on a Sunday as we did, it is free of charge. Any other day of the week, street parking can be paid for via Park ATX for a reasonable rate.

Tickets to the Texas Selfie Museum can be found on their website, or simply purchased upon arrival.
