Swamp Tiki Vibes Abound
East Austin has a new food stand courtesy of the Cavalier in the heart of the Webberville District! Wicky’s Walkup Window is a New Orleans-style counter that specializes in sandwiches, takeaway drinks, and other bodega-style items. Let their good vibes and chill crocodile mascot guide you to their outdoor patio.
The Drinks
Let’s start with everyone’s favorite: the drinks. Wicky’s makes a fire daiquiri. They took a piece of New Orleans and learned how to make a truly delicious Hurricane (minus the hurricane glass, sadly). If you’ve never had a Hurricane here’s the ingredient breakdown: passionfruit juice, lemon juice, and rum, of course! Wicky’s serves a frozen Hurricane, and if you’re itching to visit NOLA, it might just tie you over. Their frozen daiquiri flavors are rotating, so make sure you go and see what they’re offering with the classic Hurricane!

Muffulettas and Rolls
Now, let’s talk about the muffulettas and rolls. You’ve got two options in the muffuletta realm: the Ok, Boomer and the Beet it, Nerd. BTW, Wicky’s is definitely on their creative name grind. The Ok, Boomer is similar to a classic muffuletta with mortadella, salami, ham, provolone, and a to-die-for olive tapenade all on a loaf of Easy Tiger focaccia. The Beet it, Nerd is a little shoutout to the vegetarians in the crowd. Instead of the mortadella, salami, and ham, the Beet it, Nerd features citrus-marinated beets with all of the muffuletta toppings. So yummy! Their roll options are just as exciting. The Shrimp Roll is a classic Cajun-shrimp sandwich with lemon and mayo. There’s another shoutout to vegetarians with their You Don’t Know Jack roll which features Jamaican jerk jackfruit and apple-carrot slaw also on an Easy Tiger Roll. If you’ve never had jackfruit, today’s your lucky day; their jackfruit is so delicious and close to pulled pork, I guarantee you’re going to love it.

Sides
Their side options are two variations of tots. The first option of tots is the Brunch Tots; if you’re in the mood for some fried egg, bacon, and nacho cheese all on top of some crispy and delicious tater tots, these are for you. The second option is the Elotes Tots. Imagine elite, delicious, and perfect all on its own, but now imagine it on top of a bed of tater tots. The best thing you’ve ever thought of, right? They are everything you’re dreaming of and more.

If you’re more in a breakfast mood, they also have breakfast biscuits! The Naughty Girl is a ham, egg, and cheese option, and the Good Boy is a meatless sausage, egg, and cheese option — both on a buttermilk biscuit!
Wicky’s Walkup is the perfect spot for a quick lunch break or daiquiri stop on a nice day! They’re a great addition to the East Austin fam, AND they have easy parking right behind their building. You’ll definitely see us there scarfing down 6 orders of the Elotes Tots and filling up on frozen Hurricanes!
Also an extra fun fact: they are also a notary public! $4 per stamp or free with purchase. See y’all at the swamp!
