Quesoff Returns to Austin this November

Get ready, queso fanatics—Austin’s beloved celebration of all things melted and magical is back! Quesoff 2025 is happening on Sunday, November 2, from noon to 3 PM at The Mohawk (912 Red River). Mark your calendars, loosen your belts, and prepare for the most delicious afternoon of the year.

This melty showdown brings together restaurants, top chefs, home-cooks, neighbors, siblings to compete in four cheese-tastic categories: Meaty, Spicy, Veggie, and Wild Card. Plus, one queso will rise above the rest to take home the coveted Best in Show, judged by an esteemed panel of queso connoisseurs.

Benefitting a Good Cause

Best of all? Quesoff is proud to benefit the Central Texas Food Bank, so every bite supports a great cause. The Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB) is the region’s largest hunger-relief nonprofit, serving 21 counties and supporting over 530,000 food-insecure individuals annually. Last year Quesoff raised nearly $27k for the food bank.

Think your queso has what it takes? Quesoff is officially opening the call for entries, and they want YOU to throw your cheese in the ring. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or just melt a mean Velveeta, anyone can enter—and there’s no entry fee!
