A Flavorful Fall at Pinthouse Pizza

Pinthouse Pizza just released its new fall flavors, featuring dishes from handcrafted roasted pizzas to fruity salads that encapsulate the cozy feelings of autumn. We were invited to come try these dishes, and it’s safe to say we were incredibly impressed by the thought behind these unique recipes and presentations.

Our experience was wonderful, and the fun, welcoming, and lively atmosphere at Pinthouse added to it. The quick and convenient counter-service, combined with the long picnic-style tables that fill the room, creates a friendly ambiance that immerses you in the moment.

We ordered the Bobby Bacala and Del Villaggio pizzas, along with the Pear & Fennel Salad. Each dish showcased a well-balanced selection of seasonal vegetables that came together to deliver one-of-a-kind flavors with every bite.

Bobby Bacala

The Bobby Bacala pizza definitely stood out from this meal. It was a unique pizza made with lemon white sauce and topped with charred broccolini, roasted fennel, and Italian sausage. The broccolini and fennel gave it an earthy flavor that was perfectly balanced with the cheese and sausage, and it all came together to create such a flavorful dish that we enjoyed with every bite.

Del Villaggio

The Del Villaggio pizza was unlike any pizza we’ve had. It’s made with fresh mozzarella, ham, and creamy stracciatella cheese, topped off with fresh basil, chopped pistachios, and olives. The contrasting textures of the pistachios, olives, and cheese created a wonderful mix that gave this pizza a rustic, unique taste. Each bite delivered a delightful crunch of flavors that paired perfectly with the soft, warm crust.

Pear & Fennel Salad

This vibrant and sweet salad captures the essence of fall, showcasing a delightful mix of flavors. It includes fall pears, dried cherries, and blue cheese, all elegantly arranged on a bed of parsley, radicchio, and arugula. Topped with breadcrumbs and anise seed vinaigrette, this salad complemented the pizzas beautifully, offering our taste buds a refreshing change of flavors throughout the meal.
