USC vs. TCU Set for a High-Powered Clash in the Alamo Bowl
The stage is officially set for an electric postseason showdown. On December 30 at 8 p.m. CST, the #16 USC Trojans will square off against the TCU Horned Frogs in the 33rd annual Valero Alamo Bowl, live from the Alamodome and broadcast nationwide on ESPN. With two explosive offenses, elite playmakers, and coaching pedigrees loaded with postseason experience, this year’s matchup has all the ingredients for a Saturday night thriller in San Antonio.

USC: A High-Octane Offense and a Coach with Championship DNA
Entering the game with a 9–3 record (7–2 Big Ten), USC arrives as the designated visiting team and will take the east sideline under the leadership of Head Coach Lincoln Riley. Now in his fourth season with the Trojans, Riley has cemented his reputation as one of college football’s elite minds, boasting three College Football Playoff appearances, three Heisman Trophy winners, and a remarkable 78% career winning percentage.

TCU: Surging into Bowl Season with Momentum and Firepower
TCU enters bowl season riding wins over #24 Houston and Cincinnati, finishing 8–4 overall (5–4 Big 12). As the designated home team on the west sideline, the Horned Frogs are guided by Head Coach Sonny Dykes, one of only four active coaches to lead four different programs to bowl appearances and one of just six currently coaching who have appeared in a CFP National Championship Game.
