The PGA Tour Back in Houston

Memorial Park Golf Course, our favorite golf course in Houston, is the site of this week’s Cadence Bank Houston Open on the PGA Tour.

The tourney will feature Scottie Scheffler, longhorn and world number two golfer, Masters champ Hideki Matsuyama,Sam Burns, Gary Woodland, Justin Rose, Jason Day, Francesco Molinari, Jason Dufner, Zach Johnson and Jimmy Walker. If Scheffler were to win this week, he would regain the World No. 1 position over Rory McIlroy.

The winner will receive 500 FedEx Cup points and a $1.512 million cut of the $8.4 million purse.The Houston Astros championship trophy will be at the golf course for photo ops as well.
