Rotisserie Tandoori Chicken

We are always trying to find new ways to cook up our all time favorites. Tandoori chicken is one of our favorites and Masterbuilt just set us up with their Gravity Series 1050 grill, so we had to make rotisserie tandoori chicken!

Ingredients

Masterbuilt Grill with Rotisserie Kit

4.5lb Whole Chicken

Tandoori Seasoning

Lemon Pepper

Crushed Red Pepper

Garlic Powder

1 Whole Lime

Directions

  1. Wash whole chicken with clean water and remove skin.
  2. Once dry, apply all of the ingredients above generously. For a flavorful (but not too spicy) cook, we suggest 2 table spoons of tandoori seasoning per chicken. 1 tables spoon of each of the other ingredients with half a full lime squeezed on top.
  3. Truss chicken and ensure legs and wings are tight to the body for even cooking.
  4. Set your grill to 275 degrees and cook for 3.5 hours. Ensure internal temperature of 165 degrees.
