Coca-Cola Sips & Sounds Music Festival

Coca-Cola Sips & Sounds Music Festival returns to Austin much earlier than expected this spring on March 7-8, 2025. The lineup features Grammy nominated artists Halsey and Benson Boone along with other headliners Khalid and AJR. In addition to the amazing lineup and new date, the festival will also be held at a new location, Auditorium Shores, which will give attendees a better taste of the city.

Sips & Sounds first came to Austin in July 2023 and continued on as a summer festival until this year. With the earlier appearance, hopefully festival-goers can enjoy a cooler forecast than they were used to for this outdoor event. The new date will also allow the festival to overlap with the first weekend of South by Southwest, a staple Austin event that attracts celebrities, influencers and around 300,000 people every year.

It will be a big weekend for Austin with the two events happening at the same time, but it may allow for both events to attract a larger and more diverse audience than they have had in previous years. The proximity is also something to note, with South by Southwest taking place throughout downtown Austin, people can easily experience both events over the span of the weekend.

What to Expect

With the festival being held at Auditorium Shores, attendees can enjoy beautiful lake and city views along with close proximity to downtown and many popular Austin restaurants and attractions.

Guests can get access to the festival through one or two day tickets that will give them the opportunity to see 17 different performers across two stages. The gates will open at 2pm CT on Friday and 1pm CT on Saturday, giving ticket-holders time to spend the morning exploring the city.

Coca-Cola will be there with ice cold drinks and activations, as well as a selection of local food vendors, who will be announced closer to the event.

Tickets are going fast! One-day tickets for Saturday are sold out but Friday and two-day tickets are still available for purchase on the Coca-Cola Sips & Sounds website. If you are planning on attending, hotels and travel will also be going quickly due to the overlapped date with South by Southwest, so be sure to secure your trip!
