Where to Watch The 2022 World Cup in Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio

Excitement is building as the 2022 World Cup in Qatar starts on Sunday, November 20, 2022.  Soccer fans around the world are planning watch parities and getting ready to support their favorite teams. For our soccer fans in Texas, we have put together a list of the best places to watch the World Cup in Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.

Where to Watch in Austin

1. Haymaker

Haymaker serves up poutine, comfort sandwiches, and craft beer. They plan on opening early for the World Cup games. In support of team U.S.A. they are opening at 6:45 am on November 21st and are serving breakfast until 10:00 am. Be sure to keep up with their Instagram to see their schedule!

2.  Meanwhile Brewing Co

Meanwhile Brewing will be showing World Cup games with sound on their new stage TVs. They even have specials dedicated to which teams are playing that you don’t want to miss!

3. Easy Tiger

They will be hosting special fan zones at each of their locations for the World Cup! At these fan zones they will be having a buffet and preferred seating for all the USA matches! The tickets are $15 per person and will open 1 hour and a half before each match.

4. Burnet Go To

Burnet Go To is a great spot for local craft beer and good coffee, plus they’re opening at 7:00 am for World Cup matches!

5. Hopsquad Brewing Co.

This bar is known for being the place where U.S. men’s and women’s national team soccer fans go to! They are showing most, if not all, of the matches and are offering special drink and food prices for all matches! Hopsquad Brewing Co. is selling $5 beers for every match. 6. Smash ATX

Smash ATX

This is a ping-pong bar that will be showing major matches. On November 21st they will be showing 2 matches to kick off the World Cup. They will be posting the exact matches they will be showing on their socials. 

7. Skinny’s Off Track Bar

Austin’s newest sports themed bar is getting in on the FIFA World Cup by opening early daily with matches live on the jumbotron. They have food and drink specials the entire duraiton of the World Cup.

Where to Watch in Dallas

1. Hardwood Arms

Address: 2850 N Harwood St Suite 100, Dallas, TX 75201

Hardwood Arms has added extra seating and TVs for their USA vs. England blockparty. They also gave 10 beers on tap!

2. Peticolas Brewing Company

Address:1301 Pace St, Dallas, TX 75207

Peticolas Brewing will be opening early for select matches. At Peticolas they are so dedicated to the World Cup that they have crafted their own beer called Spar in Qatar in honor of the tournament.

3. Happiest Hour

Address: 2616 Olive St, Dallas, TX 75201

They are starting their World Cup celebrations on November 21st and ending December 2nd! They will be showing 12 matches in total on their patio which is the biggest in Dallas! 4. Dubliner

The Dubliner will be opening early at 7:00am on Monday, November 21st for a World Cup watch party. The schedule above shows other dates the pub will be opening early to show matches.

5. Longhorn Icehouse

Longhorn Icehouse is excited to air the Mexico vs Poland game on their 50 HD TVs. Check out their event calendar here for other matches Longhorn Icehouse will be showing.

6. FC Dallas Toyota Stadium

FC Dallas is hosting watch parties November 21st, 25th, and 29th at Toyota Stadium where up to 5,000 fans can watch matches on their huge screen! There will be raffles, prizes, food, etc! 

7. Lava Cantina

They will be hosting a watch party for the USA v ENG match on November 25th at 1pm! There will be $3 draft beers, $3 dollar hot dogs, and much more! The event will take place on their rooftop and will have free admission!

8. CrossBar

They will be showing the majority of the games! As this is a soccer bar the excitement will be high here! They will also be hosting watch parties for all the USA matches! They will have speciality drinks, pizza, giveaways, etc during the duration of the World Cup!

9. Blackfriar Pub

The bar is planning on showing all the bigger matches, but they are also taking requests from customers regarding matches. So, if there is a match they are not currently showing and you want to watch it here, you can request it! This is also the Official Pub of the Manchester United Dallas Red Clubs!

Where to Watch in Houston

1. Social Beer Garden HTX

Address: 3101 San Jacinto St, Houston, TX 77004

Social Beer Garden will be broadcasting ALL World Cup matches live in both English and Spanish. Matches will be shown on their 20ft HDTV which is the largest LED screen in Houston. For 4 am games they will also have donuts!

2. William Price Distilling Co.

William Price Distilling Co. will be hosting watch parties for all of the matches listed above. They are free to attend, but you can also pay to reserve a table. Click here to learn more information or to reserve a table.  They will have coffee and food available for all matches and cocktails, beer, and wine available at 7am! Parties will be hosted for all 7am, 10am, and 1pm games as well as for all USA, Mexico, England, Argentina, and Brazil matches! They have free admission as well as options to reserve tables.

3. Pitch 25

Brian Ching (U.S. Men’s National Team forward) is hosting a watch party that is sponsored by Estrella Jalisco at Pitch 25. This is set to be the biggest World Cup watch party in Houston! This will be going on November 2o-December 18th. Prices  are roughly between $40-$150 but vary depending on the game and they also have free admission options!

4. Drift

Address: 1207 W 20th St, Houston, TX 77008

In honor of the start of the World Cup, Drift will be opening at 10:00 am on Sunday and will be featuring specials all day and all week.

5. Monkey’s Tail

Address: 5802 Fulton St, Houston, TX 77009

Monkey’s Tale will be opening early for every USA and Mexico game. Additionally, they will be serving delicious birria tacos during every Mexico match and tasty frito pie during every USA match.

6. El Patrón Sports Bar

Address: 17113 Clay Rd, Houston, TX 77084

El Patrón is a sports bar and latin club and they will be showing the World Cup! They will have the game on all their big screens and they have food and drinks! Admission will be free! 

7. The Phoenix on Westheimer

Address: 1915 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77098

The Phoenix on Westheimer is a neighborhood pub with a British feel. They will be showing all the games! This is a popular bar for soccer games so get there early to get a good table! The admission is free!

8. Karbach Brewery

Address: 2032 Karbach St, Houston, TX 77092

Karbach will be the official watch party location with the Houston Dynamo for all of the Group Stages starting at 1PM as well as Mexico vs Poland at 10AM starting next week! Good beer and food as always. 

Where to Watch in San Antonio

1.  Chicken N Pickle

Chicken N Pickle will be hosting a watch party on November 21st to cheer on the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team as they play against Wales in the World Cup. Free quesadillas with fries will be available for kids 14 and under who are wearing soccer jerseys during the game.

2. The Growler Exchange

The Growler Exchange will be opening early at 10:00 am for the World Cup starting on Sunday for the Qatar vs Ecuador game. They will start opening earlier next week for the World Cup! They will be opening at 10am from 11/20-11/28 (except Thanksgiving day). They will be showing all the matches so head over and enjoy!

3. Künstler Brewing

Künstler Brewing will be showing a plethora of World Cup matches. Check out their events page here for the specific matches they will be showing. It’ll be a 10-day watch party that starts on 11/19 at 11pm through 11/29 at 11pm. They will be showing as many USA games as possible and will be posting which specific games they will be open for on their socials!

4. Smoke BBQ + SKYBAR
