Red Bull Rancher Strong Gallops Into Fort Worth This June

This June, Fort Worth, Texas, will become the epicenter of Western grit and elite athleticism as it hosts the much-anticipated debut of Red Bull Rancher Strong — a groundbreaking fitness competition that fuses the rugged reality of ranch life with the intensity of traditional fitness challenges.

Created for athletes of all kinds — from seasoned ranch hands to competitive fitness pros — Red Bull Rancher Strong is more than just a test of strength and stamina. It’s a celebration of endurance, grit, and the deep-rooted resilience of those who live and work the land.

At the heart of the event is a one-of-a-kind obstacle course, expertly crafted to reflect the everyday physical demands of working cowboys, ranchers, and others in the agricultural world. Each of the course’s eight stations adds a fitness-forward twist to tasks inspired by life on the ranch — from roping and riding to hauling and hurdling.

Competitors will face off in head-to-head rounds, racing against the clock and one another to prove who has what it takes to be crowned Red Bull Rancher Strong Champion. At the end of the day, one male and one female winner will emerge victorious and take home the coveted title — and a grand prize.

Behind the design and spirit of the event is Lance Pekus, best known as the “Cowboy Ninja” from American Ninja Warrior. As Sportive Director, Pekus brings firsthand knowledge of both ranching and high-level obstacle competition, ensuring a course that is as challenging as it is authentic.

Co-hosting the event are Noah Ohlsen, Red Bull athlete and 11-time CrossFit Games medalist, and Amanda Nigg, the powerhouse behind Farm Fit Training and a prominent voice in the ag and fitness communities.

Beyond the competition floor, fans can enjoy a fully interactive Fan Zone on the front lawn of the iconic Cowtown Coliseum. Attendees will be able to test their own strength and endurance in mini-challenges inspired by the main event.
