From the moment I entered, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home, while the spacious seating options provided the perfect setting for a comfortable dining experience. Their brunch menu is a culinary adventure in itself, featuring mouthwatering dishes ranging from Salt and Pepper Catfish to indulgent Shrimp and Grits, as well as Salt and Pepper Chicken and Waffles. With options for both fried, grilled, and salt and pepper entrees, there’s something to satisfy every palate. They also offered 8 daiquiri flavors! And let’s not forget about dessert! The tantalizing offerings include delights like Turtle Cheesecake and Red Velvet Cheesecake, providing a sweet conclusion to an unforgettable meal.

The Menu

I consider myself fortunate to have savored the salt and pepper catfish accompanied by crispy fries and toast during my visit. Meanwhile, my dining companion opted for the Salt and Pepper Chicken, served alongside perfectly seasoned fries, and they couldn’t stop raving about it. However, the highlight of my culinary journey was the flavorful fried rice generously packed with shrimp—truly an irresistible dish that left a lasting impression on my taste buds.

My dining companion and I were both happy by the delightful daiquiris offered at Saltt. Each sip was a refreshing burst of flavor that added to the overall enjoyment of our experience. Personally, I found the combination of Strawberry and Sour Green Apple to be delicious, while my companion delighted in the blend of Peach and Sex on the Beach flavors. From the first sip to the last, these expertly crafted cocktails provided the perfect complement to our meal, leaving us feeling thoroughly refreshed and satisfied.

As someone that loves sweet treats, I couldn’t resist sampling the dessert offerings at Saltt. First, I indulged in their red velvet cheesecake, adorned with a layer of cream cheese that perfectly complemented the rich, velvety texture of the cake. Next, I tried the Turtle cheesecake, savoring each bite of its harmonious blend of flavors. However, the ultimate delight for me was discovering their waffles—a crispy, golden treasure that captured my heart with every delectable bite.

In conclusion, my experience at Austin’s Very Own Saltt was exceptional. From the warm hospitality of the staff to the quantity of dishes and delightful cocktails, every aspect of my visit left a lasting impression. Whether it was savoring the seafood, indulging in refreshing daiquiris, or indulging my sweet tooth with tasty desserts, Saltt surpassed my expectations at every turn.
