It’s an exhibit that centers itself around creating unique and unforgettable selfies. This selfie museum opened in late May and currently features 20 immersive installations, each wildly different from the other. Tickets range from $20 for one hour to $500 for an hour private event. Zanzibar
A hidden cove in the middle of downtown Austin, Zanzibar restaurant is a tropical-themed restaurant and bar. Located on the rooftop of the Marriott Downtown, the restaurant has sparkling views of the city and lake. Notable favorites include the Sushi Burrito, Pulled Pork Sliders––and the drinks come in unique ornamental cups, like a cactus and bamboo stick. They even have a pool you can buy day passes for! They take walk-ins but stop once the restaurant has filled reservations, so if you want a secured seat make sure to book in advance.

This is Mesmerize
Another immersive experience in Austin, this art installation gallery follows the journey of Mesmer, an artist and amateur tinkerer who opens a portal to explore the infinite cosmic possibilities of the multiverse. While the current exhibit is currently closed, they are opening a new location so you can stay updated with them This Is Mesmerize on Instagram!

Wonderbar
Located at the Domain, Wonderbar is a bright and whimsical bar perfect for having fun drinks and shooting Tik Toks! The main area remains consistent, but they feature a rotation of installations throughout the year. Their most fun drink: their Disco Bull, a concoction of Bacardi Dragon Berry, Redbull Tropical watermelon, and lime served in a disco ball.

Revival Coffee
If you loved Taquero Mucho then you’ll love Revival Coffee. Owned by the same person that operates Taquero Mucho and Gabriela’s Downtown, Gabriela Lopez-Bucio brings her signature pink hue to this coffee shop. Revival Coffee is like the younger sister of Taquero Mucho. It’s a chill place where you can vibe and do some work but still immerse yourself with the same beautiful pink aesthetic.
