i Fratelli Pizza Place in Austin
The Italian word i Fratelli means the brothers, which refers to the restaurant’s owners, Darrell, David, George, and Mike Cole, who are brothers from Irving, Texas. The brothers opened their first pizza joint in their hometown in 1987, and their love for pizza and what they do has allowed them to open over 20 other spots across Texas.
Their three Austin locations’ hours range from 11 a.m. to either 9 or 10 p.m. depending on the day, so a late-night bite of pizza is always an option. As for the killjoy that is covid, the staff wear masks, and the locations are spacious, so tables are fairly far apart.
