Bode – Our Home in Nashville
We recently went on a trip to Nashville and it included lots of country music, hot chicken, and an amazing hotel. Nashville, like most major cities, has countless downtown hotels that will fit any style, budget, or taste. But we think we found something you can’t call a hotel, we felt like we were home at Bode Nashville.
Bode Nashville
The hotel is located right downtown just a couple of blocks away from Broadway. This makes for great access to good food, sports, and of course live music. As sports fanatics, we took a stroll to Nissan Stadium, home of the titans and loaded up on some gifts for the Titans fans in our lives (but always Go Texans!). As foodies, we were excited to only be a quick ten minute walk from Assembly Food Hall – the food hall has 30+ restaurants and bars, Nashville’s largest roof top, and 3 stages for live music.

Bode Nashville epitomizes the new age hotel experience. Check-in and check-out are text based and seamless. As we entered our 2 bedroom unit, we were greeted with a welcome bottle of champaign, tons of snacks (yes they included moon pies), and a lovely note.
The Unit
Words simply cannot do justice to the 2 bedroom unit we stayed in. 2 king beds, a kitchen, living room, and a porch with downtown views – can we live here forever? All of this was complemented by plenty of modern art, comfy furniture, and our favorite – a guitar!

All the furniture was had a Southern flair to it and made for the perfect backdrop for capturing some content.
The Food
Before we talk about the Hub or Sidebar, we can’t ignore the kitchen we had all to ourselves. The kitchen in our unit had all the appliances you could ever ask for, top of the line kitchenware, and lighting that inspires to make your next great dish. Unfortunately, we were only in town for a few days and didn’t have time to cook.
We did make plenty of trips to the Porch Coffee and Marketplace located right in the lobby. They brew local Stay Golden beans that made for the best lattes. The marketplace had a variety of locally sourced goods and snacks that made for the perfect lazy afternoon hangout stop.

We spent our evenings at Sidebar. The atmosphere is awesome with eclectic furniture and decorations. It’s great for groups with tons of seating options. The staff was super friendly, and the bartenders made some amazing drinks – our favorite was the English Beat. Sidebar is part of Bode, so there you can grab your drink and head out to the outdoor area with yard games and lighting.
Be Back Soon
We really enjoyed our stay at Bode. The location was awesome and the accompanying bar and open space are fantastic. The apartment-style approach with limited staff interaction was a little different, but once settled in it made things seamless. We can’t wait to be back soon!
