Global Culture Takes the Stage with International Houses

SXSW’s global footprint is reflected through a collection of international “houses” and showcases that bring the creativity of different countries to Austin.

São Paulo House invites visitors into a vibrant hub of music, ideas, and cultural exchange from Brazil, while the UK House highlights emerging technology companies and immersive entertainment projects. Meanwhile, the British Music Embassy will spotlight rising UK artists with nightly performances.

Germany will host German Haus, featuring networking events and creative programming designed to spark international partnerships, while Ireland House will serve as a meeting point for Irish innovation and creativity.

One of the most unique international activations arrives from Japan with the Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling Texas Stampede, marking the first SXSW appearance for the popular women’s wrestling promotion as it brings an energetic showcase to Austin as part of a multi-city U.S. tour.

Additional international hubs—including La French Touch, Czech House, Argentina House, and Poland House—add even more global flavor to the festival experience.
